7:00 AM | *Another nice day with high pressure still in control...strong-to-severe thunderstorms possible late Thursday*

High pressure to our north will keep control of our weather for another day with sunshine and pleasant conditions, but a warm front will arrive in the late night hours. As a result, the chance of showers and thunderstorms will increase after midnight and Thursday promises to be a warmer and more humid day with a continued chance for rain and some of the thunderstorms late in the day or tomorrow night can be on the strong-to-severe side. A cold front will then arrive early Friday and high pressure will build in as we close out the work week.

After a day with highs in the lower 90’s, it looks like the rest of the week and upcoming weekend could feature temperatures between 95 and 99 degrees on each afternoon as high pressure builds into the eastern third of the nation.

It’ll turn warmer during the second half of the week with highs generally near 80 degrees.
